The daily responsibilities of adulthood can be draining to the body, mind, and soul. Sometimes we need to restore our energy and put the calm back into our lives with a healing retreat. Todays best healing retreats can include alone time, ayurvedic spa therapies, acupuncture, meditation, natural & holistic therapies, self-care, workshops, and yoga.
The first 3 retreats specifically cater to Beautiful Black women and the fourth caters to all those in need. You will return home with a renewed sense of calm & energy, strong and with a balanced perspective.
1. The Women of Color Healing Retreats:
As seen on HBO Vice News, this is the #1 retreat for us, by us. “This healing retreat was created out of the desire to connect women with nature and seeks to provide a space of learning, healing, and nurturing that so often alludes black women”. Satya is the founder and Chief Executive Officer.
If you’re all about sisterhood and striving for excellence then this is the transformative retreat for you. You will have “guidance and a healthy dose of motivation to live life on your own terms”.
Myleik Teele is the founder plus she’s the founder of CurlBox and creator of MyTaughtYou podcast.
In this community retreat, you will experience a safe space where you can share your stories and find support. This is a “wellness social community for women of color dedicated to living well from the inside out. Our mission is to connect like-minded women through our events, retreats and online platform to cultivate strength, growth and positive manifestation in all areas of our lives. We believe that life truly begins through the interconnectivity of a healthy mind, body, and spirit”. Christina Rice is the founder.
4. Sedona Soul Adventures:
As the name states, these healing spiritual retreats are based in Sedona, Arizona. They will create weeklong or weekend personalized retreats that are designed for life-changing experiences. Stay tuned for my experience here at Sedona Soul Adventures as I will be there in November of this year for my birthday. Debra Stangl is the founder.
